Community is at the core of Hauser Insurance. As a valued member of the business community, Hauser Insurance understands the importance of giving back to Cincinnati and its people.
That’s why Hauser Insurance was delighted to once again serve as a Mentor Sponsor for Fatherhood @ FC Cincinnati, an event that raised money for the Talbert House, a longstanding fixture in the community.
The event served as the annual fundraiser for the Talbert House’s Fatherhood Project, a program designed to help men be responsible, committed and more nurturing fathers. For the past several years, Hauser Insurance has supported Talber House as a fundraising sponsor.
It’s one part of Hauser Insurance Group’s philanthropic commitment to Cincinnati and the agencies that support those with the greatest needs.
The event was held at TQL Stadium, the newly opened home to FC Cincinnati, the city’s Major League Soccer club. Coordinated by the Hatton Foundation, the August 2021 event offered families a chance to explore the space and have a fun-filled time.
Among the special activities at the three-hour event were door prizes, fundraising raffles, and an inside look at some of the areas inside the stadium that are typically off-limits, including club rooms and team locker rooms.
There was fun for all available, including refreshments, a magician, a balloon artist, and games. Soccer-related activities included letting guests take a spin through a dribbling course and practice their penalty kicks.
Community Support during a Time of Need
In 2020, Cincinnati families faced unimaginable challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, job loss, and economic insecurity. During the year, the Talbert House served more than 21,000 people with in-person support while helping another 96,000 area residents through its hotline and prevention services.
The Talbert House has a long legacy of supporting Cincinnati. Established as a halfway house for homeless men in 1965, the organization is named in honor of the late Ernest Talbert, who was a sociology professor at the University of Cincinnati.
Today, the Talbert House has a broader scope, serving adults, children, and families in need.
